The Source of Life on Ton Le Sap
![]() Ton Le Sap lake, located in north west Cambodia, is home to floating villages. These villages are comprised of house boats, floating schools, and grocers who travel by boat from house to house selling their goods. | ![]() Fishing is the main source of income and survival for many people living on Ton Le Sap. A local fisherman is constructing his large fish nets for commercial fishing. The nets are hand woven and the frames are built by hand as well. | ![]() The large nets used for commercial fishing on Ton Le Sap lake could easily fit the local fishermen who use them to earn their living. Yards of hand woven net are stretched over the assembled wooden frames and distributed on the lake. |
